Hi, I’m Mariana!
Here’s a little about who I am and the art I create:
I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Athens, Greece, working across painting, ceramics, photography, and mixed media. My creative practice is rooted in emotion, memory, and dreams, exploring the quiet inner landscapes that often live beneath the surface. Through art, I seek to translate personal experience into visual form, capturing moments of stillness, reflection, and connection. My work explores themes of identity, inner life, and the subconscious.
After stepping away from art in my teens to focus on building a career, I later returned to creative practice with a deeper understanding of its importance in my life. Art is not simply something I do—it is how I return to myself. The studio is a meditative space where I feel fully present, grounded, and connected.
I work with oil paint, pastels, modelling paste, ceramics, and photography, allowing each material to guide the process and shape the final piece. Rather than limiting myself to one medium, I embrace experimentation as a way to express the many layers of my inner world.
I am currently pursuing a Certificate in Fine Arts at the Otis College of Art and Design.
Thank you for being here and for taking the time to experience my work!
